Great quality, great packaging and pretty good action. it is winter where I live so I have not got to catch a fish on it yet but appearingly seemingly pretty decent! really like the handle and it is paired with soleus
have not been able to catch a fish on it yet but that does not mean that it is a fantastic rod. all it needs in the pro series line up is a hook keeper
I personally own the Heavy 7'4", 6'10" and the spinning rod in this series. The heavy is my go to rod for jigs and topwater frogs. It pulls them out of the junk without any issues. The 6'10" is perfect for jerkbaits and smaller crankbaits and the spinning for all my wacky worm applications. Just need to get my hands on the rest of the series for sure.
not going to break the bank with well performance
I have bought three different models of the pro series casting rod and they are all perfect. They are incredibly light and sensitive and they don’t break the bank. And it’s hard to beat that price!
