Broke in half throwing a llight/shallow diving crankbait

Maybe just a defective single rod but my 7 foot medium rod broke in half two feet down from tip casting a 3/4 ounce lipped crank. Rod hasn't been stepped on or hit anything. Very disappointing!!! Was throwing great up to that point while paired with my Garcia Revo sx. Hopefully Favorite can make it right.

Update- favorite got back quickly and it isn't covered. Pretty disappointed! They say they have a discount code- Better be a REAL good discount code otherwise I'd rather take my hard earned money elsewhere.
