Shipped pretty quick haven't used it yet but smooth as butter looks awesome better than pics. Only thing I'd like to see favorite fishing do is put reel oil in there reels . I have gave it a 5 if they did that .

Works great butttttt...

So I got the reel and the drag adjustment was cracked. It works good I got a balance rod also and there is no hook keeper, so I used the reel and the paint came off. But for 50 bucks it's a good reel.

A welcome surprise!!!!

This small reel have performed excellent the 5 times I have taking to the water so far….
Paired it with the ML Absolute and the reel have been nothing but smooth. Enough for my application, some trout and a couple of 2lbs bass have being pulled by this little guy without any issues. I DO maintain my equipment sharp after every outing, so I expect to enjoy it for a while. AND the price was right for me. Very happy with the Balance Spinning Reel.
