very flimsy

I bought this rod as a gift for myself. I thought that it was beautiful and I wanted to treat myself. I thought that it would be a great investment because it was the most expensive ultralight that I had bought (I use $25 bass pro micro lite glass or $40 ugly sticks). The very first time I used it, I got hung up in a willow and the tip broke right off. Then on the way home my cooler pinned it against the truck bed and broke it again. I contacted favorite for a replacement and they said that they would send me a new one for $50... I'm not paying for another pole that is so weak. I thought that the rod would be way more sturdy for the price. I don't think that I will ever buy anything from these guys again. Very disappointed with the pole and also having to pay for another one after I used it for about 20 minutes. I think I will stick with the cheap poles that actually replace them at no cost. My dog chewed on the tip of the bass pro micro lite glass before I even got to use the pole and I contacted bass pro and they sent me a new one at no cost at all! I highly recommend bass pro. I also have not broken an ugly stick yet...

No BS Rod Replacement

While fishing in Michigan's UP one of the eyelets came off my ultralight rod. I sent an email to Favorite on a Saturday morning telling them of my problem. I received a response before noon stating they were on it. Monday morning I received an email asking if the address I had provided would be a good address to send my replacement rod. I said yes, and received the rod on Thursday of the same week. No questions asked, no BS, just a simple replacement of a rod I was proud to show off and loved to use. I have repeated this tale to everyone of my fishing friends and anyone willing to listen to an old fisherman.

Bought this rod with kinda high expectations due to the content I’ve seen on this rod, and in every way, it exceeded my expectations of it by a long shot!! Very happy with this rod!

Great Finnesse Rod

I keep the 7' medium rigged up with a Ned rig at all times. By far my best spinning setup between all of the rods and love how the rod handles big smallmouth!
