I received this as a Christmas gift and did not use it until this spring. I think it looks nice and feels great in the hands but it is flimsy and delicate. I got into a nice fish and the reel was giving out. It felt like it was going to bend and twist right off the rod. All fasteners were tightly fastened, the issue was the reel itself. Drag wasn’t too tight and it allowed the fish to take some line but while reeling, myself and fishing buddies heard a very loud pop and the reel gave out internally. There is now grease leaking out around the handle and a piece of nylon fabric type of material sticking out from around the seal. I have caught so many big fish with that rod and line but changing to this reel was a huge mistake. No receipt to return but I do know that 60ish bucks is way too much for something so poorly made. I would agree with all of the bad reviews now that I’ve gotten to experience the disappointment myself.

Smooth reel wish it would come in a 3000 size but still an awesome reel

Drag clicker stoped working makes a bad sound like mettle on metal hard to real in fish.
