I have been fishing all my life
Started when I was 5 and now I’m 70. I had a lot of fishing gear and I need to say that Favorite Rods are the best rods and reels I have ever owned and used. I will continue to buy and promote them

Garbage

I bought the 7'2" 4 piece GEO series spinning rod and have now broken 2 of them within just over a year. Fresh out of the packaging both times. After the first one broke, I took it back to Sportsman's Warehouse and they exchanged it for a new one. I thought it was just a fluke, so I was ok with trying another one. Then, just over a year later, I took the new one (still in its protective tube packaging) with me on a trip and it snapped just below the joint where the tip connects while reeling in a whopping 5 lb fish, even though it's rated for 12-20lb test line. And of course, I am just past their 1 year warranty. Save your money and buy an Ugly Stick for half the price and you'll never have a problem, not to mention they have a 7 year warranty.

The various rod pieces do not connect completely at each joint. It’s unusable. I wrote to favorite but nobreply

Very, very, good.

This is my third Favorite fishing rod. The first one I purchased was at Dicks Sporting Goods a few years; it was a two piece rod. I tell people about the versatility of two, three, four piece rods when traveling, or pond hopping. These rods pack neatly in the car or truck and they catch fish just like a one-piece rod. Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR, PRAISE THE LORD ALWAYS.
